Hi, I’m Marlien, from The Stretch Practice! The incredible impact movement has on both the body and mind, and helping people feel better in their bodies is my thing!
With qualifications in The Stretch Method, Exercise Science, Pilates Mat, Yoga (400 hours), and Holistic Massage, I love sharing these practices to help people move better, recover faster, and feel stronger—wherever they are in their journey.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned over the years is that flexibility and mobility are essential for a healthy, pain-free body. Having a full range of motion means less tension, stiffness, fewer injuries, and better overall performance & wellbeing. When your muscles and joints move freely, everything else—strength, endurance, and even relaxation—falls into place.

Let's face it, stretching yourself can feel tedious, and being able to do this for someone to take care of their precious bodies is why I love what I do!

My approach is rooted in care and mindfulness to work WITH someone's body! I understand that physical well-being is connected to mental and emotional wellness, which is why I tailor every session to what your body needs—whether that’s deep stretching, strength and mobility through Yoga & Pilates, or relaxation. My goal is simple: to help you move and feel great.
